Tucked just off the main path, there was no wait for our party of eight. I still don’t understand it. Either everyone missed the sign, or they all stopped climbing after seeing they had to take a handful of stairs. Their loss.
Once upstairs, it felt like someone turned the tourist volume down a few notches.
The food was very good, the service was excellent, and the whole experience was relaxed. Sometimes the best restaurants aren’t hidden gems because they’re secret. They’re hidden because everyone else is standing in the wrong line.
Moses also appreciated the elevated view. After forty years of wandering, a few stairs hardly counted.
