I came here to try Fun Burger, but let me start by saying… it’s right next to the greatest Chick-fil-A in the entire known universe. I mean, how does anyone compete with that spicy sandwich sorcery? I pulled into the lot with full intentions to try something new—and then the siren song of waffle fries hit me like a gospel choir.
But I resisted. Barely. Like Frodo fighting the power of the Ring, I turned away from the glowing red C and walked into Fun Burger.
And guess what? It was actually really good. The burger was juicy, the fries were crispy, and the vibe had this cool local charm—like someone opened a diner inside a skate park. I was halfway through my meal thinking, “Wow, this is great!” and then saw the Chick-fil-A drive-thru line through the window and immediately started having second thoughts about my life choices.
Honestly, Fun Burger is a solid place with good food and friendly people. But it’s in the shadow of Mount Chick-fil-A, and that’s tough. Every bite of my burger came with a little whisper in my ear: “You could’ve had nuggets…”
Would I go back? Yes. But I might park a few spaces further away next time to avoid being seduced by the chicken gods.
