Gina was our server and she was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and somehow keeping up with a full restaurant while making it look easy.
What I love about Waffle House is the beautiful simplicity of it all. Civilizations have risen and fallen for thousands of years. Meanwhile, Waffle House is still turning the same 9 ingredients into 47 different breakfasts. Maybe Rome should have taken notes.
And despite everything the internet has taught me about Waffle House, nobody fought, no chairs were thrown, and my shoes never stuck to the floor. Just great service, good food, and a packed restaurant on a Tuesday morning.
Twenty-years was much too long. Moses recommends. Empires come and go but the Waffle House remains.
