The giant satellite dish out front, complete with bacon and eggs, might make you think you took a wrong turn toward Roswell. Nope. Apparently Sunrise just needs equipment this large to communicate breakfast orders to the heavens.
From the outside, Sunrise is a little rough around the edges. But so was the Tabernacle. The beauty was on the inside, and that feels strangely appropriate here. Walk through the door and you’ll find the Ark of the Omelette, smothered in green chile and worthy of pilgrimage.
Even the handicap symbol in the parking lot has seen some things. It’s less standardized accessibility icon and more Picasso’s interpretation of one. Still gets the message across.
Moses recommends. The photo may appear to show him bowing before the coffee, but relax. It’s gratitude & respect, not idolatry. He’s already had one golden calf incident on his record.
