As of late-2024, CLT is a solid airport experience. I’ve been to my fair share of airports, but for some reason, Charlotte always feels a bit overcrowded (sort of like Detroit but cleaner and safer!). That said, there are plenty of restaurants and lounges to relax in if you can find a seat!

Security with TSA PreCheck on a Sunday morning took just 10 minutes—no complaints whatsoever.
