After an unforgettable Lumineers concert at Olympic Hall, all we wanted was a cold beer under the stars. We wandered over to Augustiner Biergarten am Olympiasee—great location, beautiful setup….
Closed. Before 11pm.
We stood there, thirsty and confused, like Germans after World War I—defeated, disoriented, and unsure where it all went wrong. This place has so much potential, but clearly no commitment to hydrating the masses after dark. A beer garden that turns its back on the night crowd? That’s a hard prost to swallow.
